We take care about the development of science by creating a bridge between science and business.
After the scientific experiences of F.B.I. TASBUD and broadly understood cooperation with universities in the country and abroad, since 2007 the Group has a specialized Scientific and Research Division (PNB), which actively supports innovative solutions and is involved in the world of science. It consists of professors and scientists from leading technical universities in Poland, incl. Warsaw University of Technology, Białystok University of Technology, Kraków University of Technology, Wrocław University of Technology, Łódź University of Technology, Gdańsk University of Technology, Cracow University of Technology or Koszalin University of Technology. Representatives of the Scientific Research Division are the authors of many highly scored scientific publications in the field of modern technologies, which are often cited.

The main tasks of the Scientific Research Division:
- science area – continuous development and implementation of innovative scientific and research projects, a number of highly scored scientific publications, multi-threaded cooperation with universities in the country and abroad;
- business area – development and implementation of innovative solutions that guarantee technical safety, care for the environment, lower operating costs and raise the standard of use.
The Group is famous for numerous solutions that have reduced carbon dioxide emissions, took care of the environment, improved construction works and technical and warranty safety in the buildings being under construction.
Value Engineering
We see great potential for updating Value Engineering projects. We develop solutions that reduce material consumption and protect the environment, as well as reduce implementation costs and at the same time does not lower the utility standard of the facility or technical safety. We specialize in proprietary solutions that at the same time reduce the cost of implementation and raise the standard and prestige of the investment.
The Scientific and Research Division prepares offers and thoroughly analyzes the project, looking for the solutions described above, so that our offer stands out from the competition.
One of such solutions is the execution of a monolithic foundation slab shaped in an inclined form and finished with a cut, which has been used many times in the Group’s projects, which positively affects the standard of the building, increases technical and operational safety, and reduces operating costs. Sanding can be done in three types of finish: gloss, semi-gloss and matt, depending on the Investor’s preferences.
The Scientific and Research Division successfully cooperates with other Divisions in the organization, including the Prefabrication Division. Due to this, our Group has a number of innovative solutions and obtained class A patents, creating, among others, a system of integrated energy-saving construction made of prefabricated reinforced concrete elements.
Multifaceted and continuous cooperation with research units
The cooperation of the Scientific Research Division with scientific and research units is multidimensional and affects various fields. It is concerned with the analysis of studies programs and the introduction of adjustments and extensions, as well as focusing on groundbreaking research and the implementation of joint projects.
Members of the Management Board of F.B.I. TASBUD S.A. are in the Team of Advisors to the Dean of the Faculty of Civil Engineering at the Warsaw University of Technology. F.B.I. TASBUD International Group is part of the Program Council of the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Environmental Sciences of the Białystok University of Technology. We actively influence the improvement of student education programs, and at the same time create an outline of the future construction market in Poland.
Selected, currently implemented scientific and research projects:
Through the intensification of activities and the joint implementation of numerous projects, including the largest scientific and research projects at the Faculty of Civil Engineering of the Warsaw University of Technology, the Research and Development Consortium of Interdisciplinary Solutions in Construction was established. The Consortium consists of: the Warsaw University of Technology, the Polish Academy of Sciences and the F.B.I. TASBUD International Group. The cooperation is permanent and many projects are currently being implemented in parallel.

Currently selected scientific and research projects carried out by the above Consortium.
Program 3/1.1.1/2020 Szybka ścieżka dla Mazowsza
„Multifunctional photocatalytic pervious concrete precast elements for improving water conditions and air quality” organised by NCBR, where F.B.I. TASBUD International Group is the Project Leader
Project duration: 01/11/2020 – 30/09/2023

Program TECHMATSTRATEG 3rd edition organised by NCBR „The technology of producing innovative self-cleaning precast facade and paving elements to improve air quality”
Project duration: 01/01/2021 – 31/12/2023

Consortium of the F.B.I. TASBUD International Group with the Białystok University of Technology, Wrocław University of Technology and the Koszalin University of Technology.
Long-term research and analysis of the problem led to the need to establish a Consortium implementing the project Implementation of the results of R&D works. The project concerns intelligent, energy-saving technology of designing and constructing an innovative system of dry hydrant installations based on a proprietary solution. A team of eminent scientists is working rapidly on developing a project that will be implemented for execution in the near future.

Science publications:
The Scientific and Research Division of the F.B.I. TASBUD International Group for all the years of its activity has produced numerous articles in scientific journals as well as publications in the form of books. Publications meet specific, strict criteria of correctness, describing original scientific research and conclusions resulting from it, or collecting conclusions from previously published works in the form of a review. Our publications are very often scientific primary sources and are published in different languages and are used and read all over the world.
We create three types of our publications:
- source – describing own research or research by the research team in this Consortium,
- reviews – collecting and comparing conclusions from many source publications in order to systematize a certain area of knowledge,
- polemical – relating to previous publications, questioning some of their conclusions or the credibility of the description of own research.
Before being published in print, all our scientific publications undergo a peer-review process, which sometimes leads to a re-analysis of the publication and making a fundamental substantive correction.
A kind of criterion for the importance and value of a publication is the number of citations in other publications. Our publications are very often cited by other scientists in order to use them for, for example, some research method for their own research.
We invite you to read our publications.
