Project Description
Directly for Zeitgeist Asset Management, a company managing the assets of private and institutional investors, the F.B.I. TASBUD will convert an old office building into a modern student residence. The investment is located at 22 Solec Street in Warsaw’s Powiśle. As a general contractor, we are responsible for the thorough reconstruction and modernization of the property.
Zeitgeist Asset Management is for the F.B.I. TASBUD International Group an important partner. The company’s portfolio includes 258 million euro equity invested, 628 million euro of assets under management, and 463 sqm land plots and 339 thousand sqm leasable area.
The investment at 22 Solec Street will have two parts: 8- and 12-story. The dormitory, after the reconstruction, will be equipped with several hundred rooms, including premium apartments and rooms for the disabled. All single and double rooms will be equipped with private bathrooms and kitchens. The building will also include private self-service laundry and bicycle storage room. On the lower floors there will be service premises – shops and restaurants.
The architectural design was prepared by Grupa 5 Architekci, which created a modern concept, while emphasizing the historical features of the 60’s building. The building has an original staircase. The project in Solec refers to the acclaimed academician U Průhonu in Prague – Holešovice, whose investor was also the Zeitgeist Asset Management fund.
The building is scheduled to be put into use at the turn of September and October 2022, so as to provide space for next year’s students.
Warsaw is one of the largest academic cities in Europe, educating approximately 290 thousands of students every year. There are 96 universities in the capital city itself, which attract nearly a quarter of the entire student population from Poland and abroad. It is one of the most popular destinations for students from all over the world.
