The F.B.I. TASBUD company was founded in the 1980s by its current President of the Management Board, Mr. Bogdan Czapczuk.

The far-reaching or even pioneering idea of establishing a modern construction company with only Polish capital had the key assumption that F.B.I. TASBUD will be functioning and developing not only on the domestic but also foreign market.

The founder decided that the North African economic area was the best ground for the company’s development at that time. The choice fell on Libya, where F.B.I. TASBUD successfully completed the first significant orders in the area of residential and industrial investments (cement plants). Talks with investors from the Middle East have also started.

In the 1990s, the development of F.B.I. TASBUD on the African market was still relevant, but at the same time there were major changes on the geopolitical map of Euopa. The years 1991 and 1992, when the European Union was announced, turned out to be breakthroughs. The idea of a single market, free movement of people, goods and services within the EU had become real.

It was decided that F.B.I. TASBUD had greater involvement in the domestic market. The company has made dozens of investments from the private and public sectors, meeting the highest European standards. The company adopted a policy of running its business in the formula “Family Friendly Company / Human Friendly Company”, building its value not only on financial capital, but in particular on human resources. The company was adjusted to the highest quality management principles and environmental conditions, i.e. ISO standards.

Then it was time for a global transformation where F.B.I. TASBUD modified its structural functioning to the form of a private joint stock company. Through subsidiary joint stock companies operating in Europe – Scandinavia and further connections, the F.B.I. TASBUD International Group was founded.
The F.B.I. TASBUD International Group currently has resources of approx. 5,000 employees and associates around the world. The credibility of the companies belonging to the Group is confirmed by guarantees granted to them by a number of state institutions.

The companies of the Capital Group as well as the F.B.I. TASBUD International Group itself conduct open financial reporting in accordance with all the standards of international law.

Currently, while continuing the export expansion, the F.B.I. TASBUD successively implements its strategy regarding foreign activities. It is supported by many studies of external markets and business missions, which are aimed at broadening the knowledge about the local conditions and needs of given Investors, as well as preparing the Company to enter to the new markets.

A wide range of sales directions provides the Group with continuous development and the opportunity to set new, ambitious goals, as well as diversify risks.
The group is currently present in the already mentioned Libya, as well as in Scandinavia, Tunisia, Kuwait, Senegal, Congo, Great Britain and many others.

Currently, the economic area of Scandinavia, strategic for the capital group, is served by a wholly-owned subsidiary of F.B.I. TASBUD S.A. joint stock company under the Swedish law TASBUD SVERIGE AB based in Stockholm. TASBUD SVERIGE AB has three centers (Stockholm, Göteborg, Mölmo) geographically covering the whole of Sweden. As an independent general contractor, it has been active on the Scandinavian market for many years, including public procurement, with numerous successes. Its achievements include cooperation with the largest investors in Sweden, such as Framtiden AB, which build residential, service and industrial facilities.
