Representatives of our Group once again participated in the seminar organized by the Polish Investment and Trade Agency (PAIH). This time the event took place in Denmark, where we talked about why it is worth investing in the absorbent market there in the context of the construction sector.

The meeting in Copenhagen was devoted to the specificity of the construction industry of the Danish region – during a seminar entitled “Build in Denmark” raised topics related to, among others with how to start and properly run a business in Denmark and what standards are followed by Danish investors. The meeting was aimed at substantive presentation of data on investment opportunities, perspectives and challenges. In addition to theoretical knowledge, meeting participants could get to know each other through business networking. In addition to many distinguished speakers, the event was also attended by Mr. Sebastian Magier, head of the Foreign Trade Office of the Polish Investment and Trade Agency in Stockholm.

– The Polish construction industry is facing a huge opportunity for business development in Denmark. There is a shortage of professionals on the market and the investment plans are extremely ambitious. It is time to professionalize the Polish presence on the construction market in Denmark, going beyond the area of posted workers. The Copenhagen office of the Polish Investment and Trade Agency is focusing its efforts on gaining interest from Polish general contractors and prefab producers, here I would like to appreciate the professionalism of the F.B.I. Group TASBUD. To this end, we organized on November 18 this year seminar addressed to Polish companies in the construction sector. At the meeting, Danish experts from several areas presented the specifics of the labor market in Denmark, discussed safety regulations and the secrets of Danish accounting, and – most importantly – suggested how to properly prepare for Danish tender procedures – commented Łukasz Szymaszek, head of the Trade Office in Copenhagen.

– The Danish market is today a very promising country in terms of development in the context of our Group’s expansion on the Scandinavian market, where we have already started our business operations. Knowing that the construction industry has been growing steadily for the past few years, we are involved in getting to know the market and building the structure of the Group on it, this is why we are present at the “Build in Denmark” seminar. In 2016, the Danish construction industry recorded 4.9 percent growth, thus reaching a value of around EUR 19 billion, which was also emphasized during the seminar. At such a pace of development, in 2021 the value of the Danish industry is forecast at EUR 23 billion, which is over 18% growth compared to 2016 – comments the Vice President and CEO of the F.B.I. TASBD dr inż. Andrzej Czapczuk.
